Faith and the Saint Mary's Brothers

Saint Mary's College is founded on the principles and tenets of the Catholic Lasallian tradition. Saint Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, the patron saint of teachers,  began setting up schools in France for impoverished youth in the late 17th century. The Lasallian tradition continues to focus on the importance and accessibility of education.

Throughout its history, Saint Mary's College has been home to many Brothers and their students, and the Saint Mary's Chapel on campus serves as a beautiful reminder of the importance of faith in the daily life of the college.
